Student representative to the committee that works with the academic curriculums for undergraduate students

Conduct Board

This is a volunteer position and students would be committing for at least one year with the potential to re-new next Fall if the student was interested. There would be a 2-3 hour training in the Fall, and then all other commitments would depend on any hearing the students are selected for. Board hearing typically last about 2-3 hours, depending on the nature of the case. However, there are typically only a few Conduct Board hearing each year.

Bon Appetit Advisory Board

Offer input to Bon Appetit (the new dining provider) as they transition into the Emerson community and solicit student input regarding food and dining

School of Communication Diversity Council

Informal, consultative group -- implementing Diversity plan, “Diverse Voices” series, etc. (Should be affiliated with the School of Comm).

Library and Technology Policy Committee

The Library and Technology Committee advises and consults with the Library Director and the professional library staff on any matters pertaining to the policies, administration, use and functions of the Emerson College library. It also advises and consults with the Vice President of Information Technology and appropriate staff and the Vice President of Academic Affair and appropriate staff to promote faculty involvement and leadership on issues of technology strategy, planning, policy and resource allocation at Emerson and to encourage faculty initiatives in areas of technology research, experimentation, implementation and curriculum development.
